Description
A Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct care to residents and is a critical part of the healthcare team. Working as part of a team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans to promote optimal health, safety, and well-being.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and other team members to establish goals of care and develop appropriate care strategies.
  • Regularly reassess resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly, ensuring continuity and responsiveness to changing conditions.
  • Provide skilled nursing interventions and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established care protocols.
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, monitor vital signs, and manage medical equipment as needed to support resident health and recovery.
  • Coordinate with ancillary services, including therapy, dietary, and social services to ensure comprehensive and integrated care delivery.
  • Educate residents and families on health conditions, treatment options, medication management, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and empowerment.
  • Provide emotional support, counseling, and advocacy to residents and families facing health challenges, fostering a trust and therapeutic relationship.
  • Promote preventive health practices and wellness initiatives to optimize resident health and quality of life.
  • Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in resident medical records.

Requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where work is performed.
