Western Infectious Disease Consultants, PC (WIDC) is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Infectious Disease Physician to join our established physician-owned practice, serving the Denver metropolitan area since 1982.
This opportunity is ideally suited for a physician seeking a flexible clinical schedule while maintaining meaningful patient volume, professional autonomy, and significant income potential. Unlike many traditional part-time positions, this role offers substantial clinical opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and the ability to grow within a highly respected specialty practice.
Opportunity Highlights

  • Clinical opportunities include:

  • Approximately three half-day clinic sessions per week with the opportunity for more if desired
  • Twelve call weekends annually (approximately one in four weekends)

  • Exposure to antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, infection control, and outbreak management programs throughout the Denver metro area
Candidate Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care
  • Interest in practicing within an independent, physician-led organization
