Fall 2026 Animation Production Internship:

  • Time Commitment: Part-Time (24 hours per week required)

  • Format: In Person (Tuesday - Thursday)

Job Description

Responsibilities: "What would you say you do here?”

A Production Intern will be assigned to either a feature film or TV production and gain insight into production responsibilities, workflows and processes. Additionally, they will be able to observe and learn about the animation pipeline and creative process. 

Production Interns handle various production activities under the direction of their Production Manager. Interns will help to take on new challenges in efforts to gain a more detailed knowledge of the animation industry, animated television or feature pipeline and workflows. 

Interns must have strong written and verbal communication skills, are self-motivated, are outstanding teammates who take initiative, have the ability to prioritize multiple requests, have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: “What do I need to have in order to do this job?”

  • Knowledge of office management software (Excel, Word, Gmail, etc.) is vital

  • Candidates should be well organized, highly self-motivated individuals who function well in fast-paced, frenetic production based environments

  • Must be confident and proactive with excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)

  • Must feel comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date)

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must be willing to work in Glendale, California

  • Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation

  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Desired Characteristics: “What can I offer?” 

  • Film/TV, Animation/Illustration, Media Studies or related majors preferred.

  • Proven understanding of FlowPro (formerly Shotgrid) is a plus

Hourly Rate:  $17.87

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
