Short Description

This position is responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining an application or applications and provides guidance, leadership, and technical supervision to teams of application analysts in their area of expertise.  

This includes trouble shooting, researching, and solving technically challenging problems involving integrated systems.  Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.

Collaborates with multiple stakeholders to understand the overall business roadmaps and prioritizes accordingly.  

Comfortable managing and communicating pertinent information as needed.  Strong understanding of the business/technical work/workflows.

Coordinate the work of the team to ensure timely assignment of work product. Mentor and provide training to new team members, collaborating with the immediate supervisor on coaching, assessing performance, and providing feedback.

Gather requirements, provide fit gap analysis, and create effective technical solutions for the business needs; documents current/future state workflows.

Design, validate and confirm new or changed functionality with the supported application environment that meets customer specifications. 

Demonstrate ability to implement and manage small to medium level projects, validating project deadlines are met and escalate issues accordingly.  

Collaborate with key stakeholders and application team to design, build and execute a comprehensive integration and user acceptance test plan and scripts, maintain test scripts in support of new installations, projects, and/or system updates. 

QA, triage, and assign incident and change requests, validating an equal distribution of work.

Appropriately escalate issues to the direct supervisor if the team is unable to satisfy an SLA or if the

SOP warrants it.

Provide second level on-call support 24x7.

Experience Required

6 years minimum supporting, and maintaining an application or applications while providing guidance, leadership, and technical supervision.

7-10 years relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience will be considered for those candidates who have a proven track record in the field and handling responsibilities associated with the outlined job responsibilities/summary.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma Required

Bachelors Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Technology/Systems, Healthcare preferred.

License/Certification Requirements

RN, PT, OT, MA, LPN Preferred

Healthcare experience in hospital, medical practice, or health system Preferred

Application specific certification/proficiency within 90 days of hire if applicable.

Special Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Ability to effectively translate IT terminology and processes with key stakeholders.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to multitask in high pace work environment.
