Job description

Altitude Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

We’re looking for a versatile, client-focused veterinary technician who enjoys working in a collaborative general practice and thrives in a role that offers variety, from exam room care and client communication to hands-on procedures and patient support.

The ideal candidate is confident in their clinical skills, uses sound judgment, and communicates with both clients and team members professionally. This role will be an integral part of the hospital’s outpatient and procedural care, helping deliver a consistently high level of medicine and an exceptional experience for every patient and family.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
  • Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
  • Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
  • Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
  • Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
  • Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service

This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.

Schedule and compensation:

  • Compensation: $24 - $29 per hour, for each hour worked
  • This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule with availability Monday - Saturday. Saturday shifts are scheduled 2 to 3 times per month from 8am - 12pm.
