Job description

**Job Summary:**
Ray Graham Association is currently seeking part-time Animal Caretakers to assist with the day-to-day upkeep of the barn and animals in the Therapeutic Horsemanship program. The program aims to provide opportunities for children and adults with physical or intellectual disabilities to experience the joy and therapeutic benefits of riding horses and interacting with a variety of farm animals.
**Responsibilities:**
- Feed and groom horses and farm animals while maintaining a clean barn and stable.
- Turn horses out to pasture and prepare for riding lessons or other program use.
- Clean stalls and the barn facilities.
- Monitor supplies and materials.
- Repair and maintain the physical structures of the riding arena, barn, pasture/paddocks, bridle path, and exterior equipment and surfaces.
- Uphold the Mission & Values of the Association.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Must be able to meet the HealthCare Worker Background Check requirements and Criminal History Information Response Process (CHIRP) with the State Police.
- Ability to lift, at minimum, 75 lbs.
- Experience working with large animals.
**Salary:**
$14.00 per hour
