Job Overview

This is a temporary seasonal position running from May to September 2026. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager / Banquet Captains, the Banquet Bartender supports weddings, private functions, and special events by delivering high-quality beverage service in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. This role focuses on bar setup, beverage preparation, and efficient service during events, contributing to memorable experiences for Members and guests.

Hourly wage range: $19.00 – $21.50, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

The following outlines the primary responsibilities of this role, including but not limited to:

  • Set up, operate, and break down banquet bars for weddings, private events, and special functions

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Club standards and recipes

  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient beverage service to Members and guests during events

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the banquet bar area throughout service

  • Adhere to Smart Serve requirements and responsible alcohol service standards at all times

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns during events

  • Restock bar supplies, glassware, ice, and garnishes as needed during service

  • Assist with inventory counts and report low stock levels to leadership

  • Ensure bar equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and stored after and after events

  • Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and Club policies

  • Work collaboratively with banquet servers, event captains, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless event execution

Qualifications
  • Previous bartending experience in banquets, events, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred

  • Smart Serve Certification – required

  • Strong knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic offerings

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume event setting

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules

  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence
