Job description

Cooper University Health Care is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving residents and visitors throughout Cape May County. The system includes Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional, three urgent care facilities; Cape Regional Physicians Associates with primary care and specialty care providers delivering services in multiple locations throughout Cape May County; The Cancer Center at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional, the Claire C. Brodesser Surgery Center; AMI at Cooper, Miracles Fitness and numerous freestanding outpatient facilities providing wound care, lab, and physical therapy services.   • Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated timeframe.

  • Evaluates patients, implements, and documents nursing care.

  • Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.

  • Performs various patient tests and administers medications utilizing the nursing process.

  • Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

  • Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing and current NJ-RN License required.

  • Specific shift requirements apply.


  • Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN Circulator experience or have successfully completed Periop 101

  • Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing

  • Current NJ-RN License 
  • Current -BLS Certification (American Heart Association) 

  • 0700-1700; 0800-1800 Mon- Fri with call shifts on weekdays and weekends
