Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner.
  • Work with a partner in most cases.
  • Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.
  • May work in hot environment (epoxy).
  • Cleans and inspects tubing prior to stator injection process.
  • Operates surface blasting equipment and blast tubing per specifications.
  • Operates equipment to apply primer and glue to stator tubing assemblies.
  • Operates injection equipment and injects rubber into stator tubing assemblies.
  • Cures stator assemblies utilizing high temperature tanks.
  • Follows Company’s Compliance requirements.
  • Maintains and improves the quality management system.
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Regardless of other duties, the Assembly operator has a responsibility to follow LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education and Training: High school or as deemed sufficient by management
  • Technical Requirements: ability to read and interpret routine instructions; use of general hand tools and measuring equipment; basic computer skills; ability to operate moving equipment
  • Experience: At least 2 years work experience in similar role, or as deemed sufficient by management
