Job description

We have an immediate opening for a Site Supervisor at one of our facilities in Toronto, ON. In this role, you will oversee a team of janitorial staff, ensuring high-quality cleaning services are delivered while maintaining our standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Position Details:

This position is Monday to Friday 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm (or as otherwise scheduled). Pay rate: $22.00 per hour.

As a site supervisor, your duties may include...

  • Ensure that the client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives, responding to service quality issues on a timely basis and promoting a service-oriented culture
  • Prepare shift schedules and work assignments in accordance with contract requirements, ensuring the efficient delivery of services
  • Promote a healthy & safe work environment by ensuring that all CCS employees follow safe operating policies and procedures
  • Provide support with the training of new employees
  • Ordering of supplies, tools & equipment and management of a preventative maintenance program
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
  • Support with cleaning duties
  • Manage communication with radio
  • Other duties as reasonably required from time to time

What do I need?

  • Minimum of two year's experience working within the facility services industry in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in the cleaning industry including cleaning processes, environmentally sustainable products, tools, equipment and machinery
  • Demonstrated people management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and meet unforeseen demands
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools
  • Police Background Check

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 40 pounds
  • Stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift
  • Able to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry, climb stairs
  • Operate equipment when required
