Job description

A private pediatric practice is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner / PNP or Family Nurse Practitioner / FNP to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced pediatric urgent care setting in Spokane, Washington!


Nurse Practitioner will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering timely, evidence-based care to children and young adults while working within a supportive and collaborative clinical team.

  •  Dedicated pediatric urgent care model: Outpatient clinic focused exclusively on providing timely, walk-in care for acute pediatric illnesses and minor injuries in children and adolescents.

  • Access-focused care delivery: Designed to improve convenience and accessibility for families needing same-day pediatric evaluation outside of traditional primary care scheduling.
  • Collaborative clinical environment: Work alongside experienced pediatric providers and support staff in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting focused on quality and efficiency.


Benefits and Features:

  • $70-$80/hr, depending on experience, with production bonus opportunities
  • Part-time schedule with potential for additional hours

  • Flexible weekend scheduling (typically 9 AM – 1 PM shifts)


Your Role with the Company:

  • Part-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner role in an urgent care setting
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute pediatric conditions including infections, minor injuries, and common childhood illnesses
  • Perform advanced physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatments
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding acute and chronic health concerns
  • Collaborate with physicians and care team members for referrals and continuity of care
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system


Background Profile:

  • Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • 1–2 years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced urgent care environment
