Sales & Service Associate (SSA)

Part-Time | Hourly

Compensation

• $16–$18 per hour
• Based on experience and notary requirements

Position Summary

The Sales & Service Associate (SSA) is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting daily store operations. This role focuses on customer service, sales, shipping, and business services, ensuring every interaction is professional, efficient, and solutions-driven.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Provide a friendly, professional, and customer-focused experience
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
• Upsell shipping options (Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select)
• Promote high-value services including printing, notary, mailboxes, shredding, and packaging
• Encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews

Shipping & Operations

• Process shipments accurately using UPS systems
• Package items according to company standards to ensure safe delivery
• Handle Amazon and other drop-offs efficiently
• Maintain accuracy in POS transactions and cash handling

Print & Business Services

• Assist customers with printing, copying, and document services
• Provide basic guidance on file setup and print options
• Identify opportunities to grow print and marketing service sales

Store Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
• Ensure supplies are stocked and work areas are orderly
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills (POS systems, email, file handling)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, lifting, and packaging activities
