Tarzan Transit Systems, LLC is a locally owned third-party Amazon Delivery Service Partner launching operations at the DHX1 delivery station in Houston.

We are seeking reliable, safety-focused, and motivated Delivery Associates to join our founding launch team. This is a physically active, fast-paced position delivering packages to homes, apartments, and businesses throughout the Houston area.

Part-time (with eligibility for Full-Time after a 30-day evaluation and Full Time Position Availability). If offered full-time position a conversion bonus will be provided. Conversion to full-time employment is not automatic or guaranteed. Associates who consistently demonstrate strong performance will receive priority consideration as full-time opportunities become available.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

As a Delivery Associate, you will:

  • Safely deliver packages to homes, apartments, and businesses
  • Operate a company-provided delivery van
  • Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
  • Use a company-provided handheld device for navigation and delivery confirmation
  • Load, organize, and unload packages
  • Follow customer delivery instructions
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members
  • Work independently while remaining connected to the operations team
  • Deliver packages safely and efficiently in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
Qualifications

No previous delivery experience is required. Veterans, college students and career changers are welcome to apply. We provide paid training, company vehicles, delivery devices, coaching and the support needed to succeed.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid Driver's License within the state of employment
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Have an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Successfully complete screening requirements
  • Be able to operate a delivery van safely
  • Have a reliable way to report to the DHX1 delivery station
  • Be available for weekend scheduling
  • Be dependable, punctual, and professional

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding, performance-based position. Delivery Associates must be able to:

  • Lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Enter and exit a delivery van repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Work outdoors in Houston heat, rain, humidity, and other weather conditions
  • Remain active for most of an 8–10-hour shift
  • Safely manage a high-volume delivery route
