About Our Family

We're a busy, warm, and active family of five with three kids (ages 4, 6, and 9) and two gentle, older dogs who are very much part of our family. Our home is full of energy, creativity, and connection - there are often crafts on the table, puzzles being assembled, books being read, or kids heading outside to explore and get fresh air. We deeply value time outdoors, creative play, and creating a home environment where our kids can learn, grow, and feel supported.

One parent runs a full-time business with structured hours outside the home, while the other leads homeschooling and manages the rhythm of daily life at home. This is our second year homeschooling, and we're continuing to find the right balance of structure, learning, and flexibility while having everyone home more often. We genuinely love cooking and feeding our family well, but the day-to-day execution has gotten ahead of us. We're looking for someone who can step in and help bring more ease to the household through thoughtful meal planning and preparation, keeping things organized and stocked, and helping the home run smoothly behind the scenes.

We already have a regular house cleaner and part-time afternoon babysitter, but we're looking for someone who can think a few steps ahead, notice what needs attention, and become a trusted partner within our family's natural rhythms. The right person will bring warmth, initiative, and a genuine love for family life. This is a household that will take great care of the right person, and we're excited to welcome someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for a long-term role where they can truly become part of our home.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You're someone who naturally notices what needs to be done and takes pride in helping a home run smoothly. You're proactive and self-directed, but you also understand the importance of partnership - you know when to step in, when to ask thoughtful questions, and when to align with the family's preferences before making a change. You're organized, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of the details while remaining open to direction and collaboration.

You're warm, trustworthy, and respectful of the fact that you're being invited into someone's home and daily life. You treat people's belongings, routines, and space with care, and you value clear, proactive communication. You bring a calm and capable presence, whether you're preparing meals, helping maintain household systems, spending time with children, or giving extra love and attention to the family's dogs.

Most importantly, you're looking for a long-term partnership where trust can grow over time. You enjoy becoming familiar with a family's rhythms, anticipating needs, and contributing in meaningful ways. You may come from hospitality, domestic staffing, household management, customer service, or another role where responsibility and service were central - what matters most is that you genuinely care about doing things well and take pride in the support you provide.
