Akins Henke and Company is an accounting firm seeking an experienced administrative assistant for a part-time position.
Qualifications:
· Must have MS Office experience
· Experience with CCH Access a plus
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Detail oriented
· Self-directed and self-motivated
· Reliable and resourceful
Key responsibilities:
· Clerical and organizational support
· Managing the front desk (ie. Answering the phone, interacting with clients)
· Maintain office supplies inventory
· Processing and delivery of client invoices
· Processing and reconciliation of client payments
· Finalization of tax returns
· Process daily mail
· Light office cleanup
· Provide support to accountants on various tasks/projects
· Coordination of firm expenditures
Start Date: July 15, 2026
Hours: Variable hours of 20 – 30 per week based on time of year, with flexible scheduling of days worked each week. All time is in office.
Location: 600 Inwood Avenue North, Suite 140, Oakdale, MN 55128
Pay Rate: Hourly pay rate between $24 and $26 per hour.
