As a Program Administrator 2- Buyer Furnished Equipment, you'll contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of aerospace.
This position contributes to our vision by:
• Keep accurate and concise records of all program requirements, receipts and disbursements
• Communicate daily and weekly requirements with suppliers. Obtain vendor delivery commitments and reconcile open order requirements. Follow up with vendor shortages.
• Participates in the daily production and program meetings as required.
• Account for all loaned parts and subsequent return to supplier(s) at the conclusion of program
• Coordinate with BFE Inventory Specialist to insure correct stocking locations for each program
• Prepare vendor forecast reports, secure long term capacities to support company needs.
• Prepare daily purchase orders for acquisition of items with a goal of controlling cost margin, vendor delivery, performance, and product quality.
• Arranges the return of rejected items and ensures transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Compiles product specifications, sources product, prepare requests for quotation, analyzes results and presents recommendations.

Candidate skills & requirements
At Safran Seats, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.
• Requires an Associate's degree or 3 years related experience in lieu of Associate's level degree to meet the education requirement.
• In addition to meeting the education requirement, requires an additional 2 years' experience in a project team environment/exposure.
• Must be computer literate with knowledge of MAPICS system.
• Must have a good understanding of MRP principles.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software tools (word, excel, power point and project) and e-mail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills conduct both written and verbal communications with airline customers, airframe manufacturers, internal customers, and BFE suppliers on a daily basis
• Excellent organizational skills; must have ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; and prioritize those tasks as required.
• Ability to solve problems and think strategically.
