What is part time AI data labeling?

Part-time AI data labeling involves annotating or categorizing data such as images, text, audio, or video to train and improve artificial intelligence and machine learning models. As a part-time data labeler, you work flexible hours to tag or classify data according to specific guidelines provided by a company or research team. This role is essential for creating high-quality datasets that help AI systems learn to recognize patterns, objects, or language. The work can often be done remotely and may require attention to detail and basic computer skills. Many companies hire part-time data labelers to handle large volumes of data efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time AI data labeling specialist?

To thrive as a Part Time AI Data Labeling Specialist, you need attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with labeling platforms, annotation tools, and sometimes experience with data management systems is typically required. Reliability, time management, and the ability to follow precise instructions are crucial soft skills for this role. These skills ensure high-quality, accurate datasets that support effective machine learning model development.

Part-time AI data labelers often encounter challenges such as repetitive tasks, maintaining high accuracy, and adapting to evolving labeling guidelines. To manage these, it's important to take regular breaks to prevent fatigue, stay updated on any changes to annotation protocols, and communicate with supervisors or team members when clarifications are needed. Then we want YOU to join our team as a Bandon Dunes Golf Resort Host! As a Host, you'll be our guests' first point of contact, welcoming them with genuine hospitality and ensuring they have an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From managing reservations to coordinating with our team, you'll be the glue that keeps our operation running smoothly. This position will involve working weekends and evenings.

About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort:
Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to two 'Courses with a Mission': Bandon Preserve, an award-winning par-3 course, and Shorty's, which opened in 2024. All net proceeds from both courses fund the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation, supporting communities along the South Coast of Oregon.
Beyond premier golf, guests delight in a variety of dining options at Bandon Dunes' collection of restaurants. Whether you're looking to enjoy locally-sourced, Pacific-Northwest cuisine accompanied by an award-winning wine list or prefer kicking back in a Scottish-style setting with traditional pub fare and local microbrews, there is something for everyone.
Working at Bandon Dunes is a dream for golf fans, outdoor enthusiasts, and hospitality professionals alike. The Bandon Dunes team works together to create trips of a lifetime for our guests. We are passionate stewards of our resort, community, and environment. As an endlessly curious group, we ask questions, share ideas, and always look for a better way. With a hard-working attitude, we help guide our guests through their pure golf experience, immersed in Oregon's natural beauty and away from the demands of daily life.

  • Say goodbye with the same enthusiasm as the hello-because we want them to come back.
  • Help create a top-notch dining experience by being attentive, professional, and always ready to lend a hand.

  • A sharp eye for detail-because the little things matter.
  • The ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • A positive attitude and a polished, professional appearance.
  • Current OLCC certification.

Classification and Benefits:
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Enjoy a well-rounded benefits package that covers your health, wellness, and financial future.
