What are part time afterschool nannies?

Part time afterschool nannies are childcare professionals who look after children during the hours after school, typically from the afternoon until parents return home from work. Their responsibilities often include supervising homework, preparing snacks, organizing activities, and sometimes transporting children to and from extracurricular activities. Unlike full-time nannies, they generally work fewer hours and focus on the specific needs of families during the afterschool period. This role is ideal for families who need reliable childcare support during the busy transition between school and evening routines.
