About the Role:
Join The Goddard School of Simpsonville as a Part Time Afternoon Teacher, where you'll inspire and nurture young minds in a warm and engaging environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives while working in a supportive team that values education and creativity.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage children ages 6 weeks to  5th Grade in various activities.
  • Implement lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment in accordance with state regulations.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive educational experience.
  • Encourage creativity and exploration through play-based learning.
  • Assist with daily routines, including snack time and outdoor play.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
