Job description

Position Title: Advertising Maintenance Technician

Company: Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group in partnership with Clear Channel Airports

Location: Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW)

Position Type: Part-Time, On-Call

Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group, in collaboration with Clear Channel Airports, is seeking an on-call, part-time Advertising Maintenance Technician to support the installation and maintenance of advertising displays at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, reliable professional who is committed to maintaining high-quality advertising displays and ensuring that all airport marketing materials meet Clear Channel’s presentation standards.

The Advertising Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine visual inspections of advertising fixtures, verifying correct placement of ad materials, and ensuring that display case interiors are clean and secure. The role includes checking all digital displays to confirm they are functioning properly and showing the correct content, replenishing marketing literature when needed, and replacing light bulbs or LEDs to keep displays fully illuminated. Additional responsibilities include inspecting specialty displays, receiving shipments of graphic materials, installing new graphics within required timelines, and updating placement maps after installations. The technician will also coordinate specialty display placements, collaborate with airport personnel to support display requirements, and complete scheduled monthly walkthroughs as assigned.

This position requires verifying digital equipment timing, troubleshooting and resetting display units when necessary, and conducting digital and touchscreen audits according to the management schedule. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Candidates must pass a clear background check and be eligible to obtain a TSA-issued airport badge. Flexible availability is required, including occasional weekend hours, though the average workload is approximately 2-4 hours per week depending on operational needs. Preferred applicants will have prior experience in maintenance, advertising, facilities support, or a related field. Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and basic computer proficiency are also important.

A resume is required for consideration.
