Licensed Therapist Opportunity At Coral Shores Behavioral Health

Coral Shores Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and dynamic licensed therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! Coral Shores Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a beautiful, 80-bed adolescent and adult Baker Act receiving facility, which is located in sunny Stuart, Florida. Our professional staff provide high quality, individualized care to uniquely fit the intensity and severity of each patient's needs and offer a continuum of mental health and addiction services in a confidential, caring environment that promote crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, personal growth and problem-solving. Coral Shores is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Position Summary: The IOP therapist performs clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their goals while enabling them to access, through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, group therapy, providing information and referrals as needed, and individual therapy when ordered by an MD. Provides variety of psychotherapeutic services including, family and individual (adults and children) in an outpatient psychiatric behavioral health center setting. Patient(s), with co-occurring disorders, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse disorders and other behavioral disorders. Part time schedule evening 4:00-8:30pm.

Qualifications: Education: Master's degree from accredited school in social work, or mental health counseling. Crisis prevention intervention (CPI) required or equivalent. Experience: One (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health center or psychiatric counseling setting with adults and/or children treating co-occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients, with an understanding of co-occurring disorders, and cultural linguistic diversity amongst patients. Licensure: Licensed in FL - LMHC or LCSW, CPR certification.
