A part-time addiction counselor helps individuals struggling with substance abuse or behavioral addictions by providing guidance, support, and treatment planning. They may conduct individual or group counseling sessions, assess clients’ needs, and develop personalized recovery plans. Working part-time, these counselors often collaborate with other health professionals and refer clients to additional resources as needed.
