Part-Time Activity Assistant
Are you compassionate, outgoing, and looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life?
We are seeking a Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our long-term care team. In this role, you will help plan and lead engaging activities that bring joy, purpose, and social connection to our residents.
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • One Saturday per month required

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assisting with recreational, social, and educational activities
  • Encouraging resident participation and engagement
  • Building positive relationships with residents and families
  • Helping create a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment
  • Assisting with activity setup, cleanup, and special events
  • Transporting residents to and from activities, outings, and campus events using a 6-passenger golf cart and small passenger bus

Qualifications:
  • Compassionate, caring, and patient
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with older adults
  • Dependable and team-oriented
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be comfortable and willing to safely drive a 6-passenger golf cart and small passenger bus
  • Experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, or customer service is helpful but not required
