Job description

Fitness Coach – Retro Fitness Cambridge (Powered by Momentum Enterprises)
Part-Time | $27–$40/hour, based on experience and certifications

Not your average trainer gig. If you believe coaching is about relationships, not just reps - keep reading.

As a Fitness Coach, you'll help members build lasting habits across three pillars:

  • Movement – how the body moves, performs, and stays resilient
  • Nutrition – fueling habits that support real, long-term health
  • Recovery – sleep, stress management, and restoration

This is a coaching role, not a "count the reps and clock out" job. We want people who lead with empathy, curiosity, and consistency - because that's what actually keeps members coming back.

What You'll Do

  • Run personalized coaching sessions on movement, strength, and conditioning
  • Educate members on nutrition and recovery basics (within scope)
  • Build individual plans around each member's goals and lifestyle
  • Track progress and adjust based on real feedback
  • Keep the floor safe, professional, and welcoming
  • Help with check-ins, scheduling, and daily club operations
  • Bring energy and represent Retro Fitness with pride

What You Bring

  • Experience coaching for long-term change, not quick fixes
  • Current Personal Training cert (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or equivalent)
  • CPR/AED cert (or willing to get one before hire)
  • Strong communicator, team player
  • Flexible availability

Perks

  • Flexible scheduling
  • Retirement savings, even for part-time
  • Employee discounts across all Momentum brands
  • Company uniforms provided
  • Real room to grow
