Position Summary
The Anderson School of Management's Department of Management at the University of New Mexico anticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Spring 2026, and/or Summer 2026 semesters.
Departmental needs at this time may be best served by the hiring of temporary part-time faculty whose specialties are in the area of International Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business Law, Business Ethics, Strategic Management, and other management courses within the undergraduate and graduate programs.
The Anderson School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International and is one of the few programs in the world to attain both an Accounting and Business Accreditation from AACSB. We offer BBA and MBA degrees in twelve concentrations, as well as a Master of Accounting (MACCT), an Executive MBA for working professionals, an MBA in Education Leadership, a Master of Science in Cyber Security and Business Analytics, and a Master of Science in Project Management. With over 21,000 alumni, Anderson alums can be found having an impact in their communities all over the world. With a strength in diversity, equity and inclusion, Anderson emphasizes collaborative student interaction, active adult learning, team experiences, and scholarship that draw upon a variety of methodologies and subject areas.
Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or add courses. Candidates who are selected for these positions will report to the Department Chairperson.
Wages
Adjunct Faculty at Anderson School of Management are currently compensated on the basis of their credentials and credit hour course loads. The typical pay rate for new Adjunct Faculty ranges between $4,919.91 - $6,979.91 per 3-credit hour course.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a field related to the area of the teaching assignment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience/expertise in related field evidenced in cover letter and resume
  • Evidence of teaching experience in resume
  • MBA or Ph.D. in relevant field
  • A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
