Compensation & Hours

  • Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour to start, potential commissoin
  • Review Schedule: Performance and wage review after 3 months of proven ability.
  • Hours: Part-time to begin. (24 hours) may lead to full time, depending on productivity.
  • Paid Time Off - PTO is earned. After 3 months, it can be utilized.
  • Location: Fully in-office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Cold Calling (40%)

  • Cold call local small-to-medium business owners to introduce our bookkeeping services.
  • Follow up promptly with warm leads from our website, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Pre-qualify leads by identifying their current accounting pain points.
  • Schedule discovery consultations between prospective clients and our senior bookkeepers.
  • Log all call outcomes, notes, and follow-up tasks accurately in our CRM software.

2. Social Media & Digital Outreach (30%)

  • Create and schedule weekly educational content (e.g., tax deadlines, bookkeeping tips) on LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Monitor social channels and respond professionally to direct messages and comments.
  • Proactively engage with local business groups and professional networks online to build brand awareness.

3. Administrative Office Support (30%)

  • Answer incoming office phones, greet occasional visitors, and manage the general company email inbox.
  • Help onboard new clients by sending intake forms, setting up client portals, and requesting document access.
  • Maintain digital client files, track project deadlines, and assist with scanning or document filing.
  • Follow up with existing clients for missing receipts, bank statements, or signatures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Phone Stamina: Absolutely comfortable making outbound cold calls to business professionals.
