Join our dedicated pediatric team at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Rockville, MD! We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and highly skilled Registered Nurse to support 6 Pediatric Physicians in providing exceptional care to patients ranging from newborn to 21 years of age.
We are looking for a team player with a patient-centered approach; ability to thrive in a pediatric setting and communicate effectively with parents and/or guardians; confidence in multitaking and adapting to eveloving clinical priorities.
The Registered Nurse, RN, must be able to:
  • Primary focus on in-basket management and triage calls
  • Collaborate closely with families--attentive, patient, and communicative
  • Be ready to step in and assist with urgent clinical needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Partner with and mentor Certified Medical Assistants
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and effective leadership skills

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) preferred
  • RN license in Maryland or compact state
  • CPR (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
  • Minimum six (6) months of nursing experienced required
  • Previous RN experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting is a plus
  • Two (2) years experience as licensed RN is highly preferred
  • IBCLC certification is highly preferred
  • Obtain C-EFM within 6 months of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
