UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions.   • Concierge urgent care model
  • Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year
  • Weekend and holiday rotation
  • 1 weekend every three weeks
  • Required to work 1 Summer and 1 Winter holiday

  • Work with experience staff
  • No appointments necessary
  • Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

  • Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injures
  • Excellent assessment skills
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide high quality care to all ages
  • Offers select diagnostic tests (x-ray, lab, etc.)
  • Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate
  • Board Certified
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States
