Job description

Landscape Designer, Landscape Architecture
Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in May 2027 to join our dynamic Planning & Landscape Architecture team in Oklahoma City, OK as a Landscape Designer. You'll have the chance to collaborate with a talented group of landscape architects, planners, and other professionals, lending your skills to a diverse range of public and private projects. From park and recreation design to urban plazas, streetscapes, and large-scale planning initiatives, you'll play a key role in shaping impactful spaces. What you will do:
  • Landscape architectural and planning project support.
  • Work directly with landscape architects, engineers, surveyors, and other design support services.
  • Participate in site inventory and analysis.
  • Assist with project research and data compilation to be used in design process.
  • Produce conceptual site planning and graphics (hand and digital), schematic/preliminary design plans and graphics, design development and construction document plans and details.
  • Produce quantity take-offs and develop opinion of costs.
  • Assist with technical specification preparation for bid documents.
  • Produce landscape compliance documents for land development projects.
  • Produce maps and graphic renderings in support of planning projects.

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university is required.
  • A minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in Landscape Architecture, specifically in designing projects such as parks, recreation and trail planning and design, urban parks, plazas, streetscapes, transportation enhancements, land development, and providing support for large-scale planning projects.
  • Well organized, detail oriented, and highly motivated.
  • Strong design and graphic skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with industry software applications such as AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
  • ArcGIS experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel periodically primarily in state to support project needs.
