Bike Park Designer

American Ramp Company (ARC) is a full-service action sports planning, design, manufacturing, and construction firm specializing in public skateparks, bike parks, pump tracks, and trail systems. • Travel to project sites to meet with clients, collect site data, and better understand site opportunities and constraints.
  • Collaborate with municipalities, government agencies, community groups, consultants, and internal project teams throughout the design process.
  • Develop creative, functional, and visually compelling conceptual layouts using CAD software.
  • Evaluate grading, drainage, and other civil design considerations during early planning phases.
  • Utilize GIS data and mapping tools to support trail and bike park design.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost estimating, and project feasibility during multiple phases of design.
  • Create graphic plans, renderings, and precedent imagery to communicate project concepts effectively.
  • Manage weekly tasks and project timelines to maintain schedules and deliverables.
  • Continuously observe and integrate industry best practices into daily workflows and project execution.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong professionalism and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving and practical reasoning
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Understanding of geometry, grading concepts, and practical mathematics
  • Ability to apply ratios, percentages, measurements, and spatial thinking to real-world design challenges

Cultural Fit

We are looking for team members who embody the following values:
