THE JOB

Lakewood Amphitheatre is seeking Parking Lot Attendants who will be responsible for directing and creating a smooth flow of vehicle traffic upon entry and exit from the venue. This is a part-time, seasonal position for show days.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals, flags, and flashlights as necessary.
  • Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.
  • Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
  • Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts.
  • Process parking fee payments using provided point of sale (POS) devices and follow company credit card handling guidelines.
  • May support parking operations in setting up signage, cones, and other parking traffic control equipment.
  • Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • A high school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Position requires constant walking and occasional sitting.
  • Previous experience as a parking lot attendant is preferred.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear and concise fashion.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must pass a required pre-employment background check.
