Workplace Type

Hybrid if you live within 45 miles of our Emerald Isle, NC or Independence, OH offices (Mon & Fri remote, Tue–Thu onsite). Work Hours

Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET. We value collaboration during core business hours but offer flexibility where possible. 

Travel: Travel will be up to 10% for team quarterly meetings.

About the Role

The Senior Account Executive - Parcel is responsible for growing revenue for TransImpact by utilizing strong skills and experience in B2B sales, strategy, and negotiation specific to Parcel contract negotiation and SaaS. They consult with parcel shippers to help improve bottom-line profitability by gaining actionable insights into their parcel shipping data and by obtaining market-appropriate carrier agreements. They are responsible for the overall management and accuracy of their sales funnel, business terms negotiation, and management of the implementation processes. The Senior Account Executive – Parcel is responsible for understanding the products and services offered by TransImpact while articulating the value they create for our clients as part of facilitating the sales process.

What You Bring

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent education combined with work experience.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) + of Parcel and/or Freight sales (carrier and/or technology provider) 
  • Experienced with B2B sales and account management; SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and issue resolution during the pre- and post-sales processes. 
  • Ability to understand and negotiate business contracts.
  • Ability to analyze and calculate figures such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.  
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must demonstrate outstanding organizational skills
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
