Job Title: Paraprofessional / Direct Support Professional (IDD Services)

Company: Alpha Management Services, Inc
Location: Butner, NC
 Schedule: Flexible evenings and weekends. Hours may vary based on caregiver need. Services can be provided on a regular basis each week. 
Job Summary

We are seeking a staff to support a 4-year-old boy with autism and developmental disabilities (IDD). The position involves working with the consumer and providing respite services. The role includes offering support to the primary caregiver to provide them with a break.
Key Responsibilities

  • ·        Provide supervision and care in the home and/or community setting 
    ·        Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) (e.g., hygiene, dressing, meals as needed) 
    ·        Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment 
    ·        Engage individuals in recreational and social activities 
    ·        Follow the Individual Support Plan (ISP) and caregiver instructions 
    ·        Monitor for health, safety, and behavioral concerns and report as needed 
    ·        Maintain professional boundaries while working in the home 
    ·        Complete accurate and timely documentation (service notes) 
    ·        Communicate effectively with families and supervisors
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for position) 
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening 
  • CPR/FA and NCI (on-site training available)
