Paramedics- Oldham County EMS Services

Multiple Shifts and Positions Available

Baptist Health La Grange currently has openings at its Henry County & Oldham county stations for Paramedics.Offering various shifts and hours to meet flexibility in work-life balance.At Baptist Health La Grange EMS services operate both as hospital transport and within the 911 services system of Oldham & Henry Counties. Outstanding equipment, compensation, work environment, and benefits are offered for our positions.

Job Summary:

Provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured. Transports and transferspatients and assesses the extent of an illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures tofollow. Applies artificial respiration or administers oxygen in cases of suffocation and asphyxiation, starts
and administers intravenous fluids, performs other emergency medical interventions in accordance with State and Locally approved medical protocols.

Job Requirements:

  • Paramedic License issued by the Kentucky Board of EMS.
  • Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
