Paramedics work in ambulances or other emergency response vehicles and may also respond to calls in public places, homes, or workplaces. Their training includes advanced life support, such as administering medications, intubation, and defibrillation. Paramedics play a vital role in the healthcare system by delivering critical care before patients reach the hospital.

Strong decision-making, emotional resilience, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for managing high-stress situations and interacting with patients and colleagues.
