Nationally Registered Paramedic

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Nationally Registered Paramedics to join our team. In this role, you will provide advanced life support and critical care transport while maintaining professionalism and upholding our core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-hospital and inter-facility medical care in emergency and non-emergency situations.
  • Perform advanced life support (ALS) procedures, including airway management, IV therapy, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring.
  • Operate and maintain ambulance equipment and emergency medical supplies in a state of readiness.
  • Work closely with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient transfers.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and transport details accurately and efficiently.
  • Uphold company values by demonstrating integrity in decision-making, excellence in patient care, and an unwavering commitment to safety and professionalism.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Must be at least 19 years old or older at time of hire for insurance purposes
  • Successful completion of NR Paramedic certification
  • Current NR Paramedic and State Paramedic (or ability to obtain within 10 days of hire)
  • Current AHA BLS CPR, ACLS, PALS or ability to obtain within 10 days of hire
  • Ability to provide quality patient care within scope of practice
  • Knowledge of all state protocols for a Paramedic
  • Valid photo ID
  • Ability to pass a lift test of 150 – 200 pounds
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of pumps, vents, and monitors utilized in EMS care
  • Knowledge of all state protocols for a Paramedic
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and writing patient care reports

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Previous EMS experience
