Position Overview

We are currently hiring Armed Security Guards for assignments in Downtown Miami. The ideal candidate is professional, alert, and capable of maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.

Positions consist of daily patrols throughout the property; from the basements to the eleventh floor, patrol must monitor pumps in basements, check and secure all exits throughout each floor. Post positions consist of constant monitoring of all personel entering and exiting buidling, while upholding building policies.

Responsibilities

  • Must be capable of prolonged standing and walking, and rapid emergency responses
  • Provide armed security presence at assigned locations
  • Monitor premises and conduct routine patrols
  • Enforce property rules and regulations
  • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports
  • Work collaboratively with team members and local law enforcement when necessary
  • Maintain a professional appearance, grooming and hygiene and demeanor at all times

Requirements

  • Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License
  • Valid Florida Class G Armed Security License
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Strong communication and observational skills
  • Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Seeking ambitious and physically fit guards who thrive in demanding, fast-paced environment's.
  • Prior military, law enforcement, or armed security experience
  • Strong conflict de-escalation skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • CPR certified is a plus
  • Experience with CCTV monitoring and systems a plus
  • 1 year of experience
