Security Officers Needed - Plantation, FL
We are currently seeking Security Officers to join our team in Plantation FL. The ideal candidate will be 18 years of age or older, a U.S. Citizen, and have a neat appearance. In addition, the candidate must be able to pass a drug screening and background investigation, have reliable transportation and phone, possess a Florida Class D License and, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
  • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
  • Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
  • Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
  • Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older

  • Pass a background investigation
