Job description

Responsibilities

  • Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout
  • Establishing project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with client requirements
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Oversee project budgeting and cost control and manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
  • Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholder

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on affordable housing.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
