You will also help keep our press operators supplied with materials, organize inventory, package finished products, and transport materials between Paradigm buildings.

Previous quality control experience is helpful, but it is not required. If you are dependable, organized, comfortable working on your feet, and naturally notice when something doesn't look right, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Do

  • Inspect pressed diplomas, certificates, and other products for accuracy, quality, color consistency, and visible defects.
  • Compare finished products against job specifications to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Use production job information to gather and prepare materials needed by our printing press operators.
  • Help keep the department stocked with paper, supplies, and other production materials.
  • Organize and maintain materials, finished products, and supplies in the stockroom.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Package and prepare completed products for safe and accurate transport.
  • Coordinate the movement of products and materials through the department.
  • Drive a company vehicle to transport products and materials between Paradigm buildings.
  • Communicate quality concerns or production issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Work with production and other departments to help meet daily deadlines and customer commitments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with other production needs as assigned.

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have strong attention to detail and take pride in accurate work.
  • Are dependable and able to maintain regular, on-time attendance.
  • Can follow written instructions, specifications, and established procedures.
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities can change.
  • Can stay organized while handling multiple tasks.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Are willing to learn our products, quality standards, and production processes.
  • Have a valid state-issued driver's license and are comfortable driving a company vehicle between nearby Paradigm buildings.

Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, printing, production, warehouse operations, inventory, packaging, or shipping is a plus, but is not required.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Employees must be able to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
  • Regularly bend, reach, and move throughout production and stockroom areas.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Safely handle printed materials, boxes, supplies, and finished products.

Reasonable accommodation may be available to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the position.

Schedule & Pay

  • $18.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on applicable experience
  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Onsite in Virginia Beach, Virginia
  • Weekday or weekend overtime may occasionally be required based on production needs.

Benefits

Eligible employees may have access to:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement plan with company matching
  • Paid annual and sick leave
