Position Title: Lead Sheeter Operator (Sheeting Machine Operator / Paper Converting Operator)
Department: Converting
Reports To: Production Manager
Position Summary
Accurate Paper Box is seeking an experienced Sheeter Operator with several years of hands-on sheeter experience in folding carton manufacturing. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate can step in immediately, run at full production speed, minimize waste, and lead the department without extensive training.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot high-speed paperboard sheeters
  • Maintain tight sheet size tolerances and board quality standards
  • Monitor grain direction, caliper consistency, and sheet accuracy
  • Drive maximum throughput while maintaining low spoilage rates
  • Identify and correct mechanical or quality issues proactively
  • Coordinate with pressroom scheduling to ensure material readiness
  • Lead assistants and enforce high performance standards
  • Maintain accurate production reporting
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years operating a sheeter in folding carton manufacturing
