Content Writer/Strategist - Digital Marketing

We are seeking a full-time, in-office, Dallas/Fort Worth-based marketing content writer/strategist who will be tasked with addressing user pain points in content, working closely with product marketing managers and metrics to help design a content strategy that informs learners about the "why" and guides them to the best test prep solutions for their needs. This creator will effectively:

  • Craft compelling B2B and B2C marketing content that educates, engages, inspires, and communicates the value of our products in a consistent brand voice.
  • Own content development for a business vertical from planning through publication.
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape messaging, recommend content approaches, and create integrated content that supports campaigns and drives results.
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with subject matter experts and product marketing managers to deliver targeted content for web pages, email campaigns, blogs, brochures, infographics, video scripts, press releases, and more.
  • Use audience insights and performance data to continuously improve content effectiveness.
  • Inspire and challenge peers to raise the overall quality of our writing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content strategies that support product marketing initiatives and campaign goals.
  • Partner with designers, email marketing specialists, social media experts, and videographers to identify audience needs and strengthen content.
  • Produce high-quality, multi-format content, including blogs, landing pages, emails, case studies, white papers, sales enablement materials, video scripts, social media content, and more.
  • Manage projects from concept through publication while coordinating with design, marketing, SMEs, and other partners.
  • Optimize content using SEO, UX writing, accessibility, and conversion best practices.
  • Analyze content performance and recommend improvements based on data and user behavior.
  • Contribute ideas that improve editorial processes, messaging consistency, and campaign execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering polished content at scale.
  • Apply provided feedback with flexibility and professionalism while maintaining UWorld's brand voice.
  • Follow AP and custom brand and style guidelines to ensure professionalism, consistency, and accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of professional B2B and B2C marketing content experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating effective storytelling across multiple formats.
  • Strong knowledge of AP style and understanding of SEO, UX writing, and content marketing strategy.
  • Exceptional writing, self-proofreading, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with industries such as healthcare, finance/accounting, and/or education.
  • Proficiency with content management tools such as Monday.com, Trello, or Asana.
