WhatYou'llDo

You'llwork individually and in teams tosupport capital projectsand implement solutionsfor ourclients.Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

  • Manage construction projects in the food, beverage, and life science manufacturing sectors in collaboration with our in-housedesign teams,licensedprofessional engineers,governing authorities, and subcontractors

  • Mangeproject execution frominceptionto close-out, including planning, scheduling, resources, budgets, and coordination of construction resources and activities

  • Generateaccuratemonthly project control reports

  • Manages project risk associated with contracts, insurance, and notices-to-proceed

  • Create and review project estimates based on conceptual and early project design packages

  • Managethe entire contractor bidding processincludingassemblingbid packages, conducting job walks, evaluating bids, and coordinating contractor mobilization activities

  • Review subcontractor contracts and proposals for conformity to the project schedule and scope

  • Coordinate subcontractor and supplier requirements to meet project schedule operations

  • Ensure compliance with project plans and specifications

  • Assume responsibilityfor safe, quality,timely,and cost-effectiveexecution ofon-siteconstruction project work

  • Ensurethat all materials and methods of construction conform to company, industry, and regulatory standards, specifications, and requirements

  • Overseejobsite, planning, progress,and closeout meetings

  • Analyze subcontractor change requests

  • Manageproject safety

  • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills andexpertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team

WhatYou'llBring

  • A minimum of 12years of experiencein construction roles(project engineer, site superintendent, construction project manager)

  • A minimumof eight years ofexperience as a construction managerincludingindustrial structures experience

  • Project responsibilityexperience withanA&E design build firm (preferred)

  • Experience as a construction managerwithindustrial structuresin thefood, beverage, consumer products, pharmaceutical,or related industries(preferred)

  • Successful completion ofindustrial projects with values ranging from $50K to $50M

  • Aworking knowledge of process systems andtheability to read P&IDs

  • Experiencenegotiating contractsand putting bids together for final presentation

  • Proficiencywith Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Timberline, AutoCAD,orRevitsoftware systems

  • An understanding ofprime contractsrequirementsincluding schedules, scopes, budgets,and performance expectations

  • Manufacturing site experience(preferred)

  • A willingnessto travel for project requirementsincludinginstallation and start-up activities, clientandcompany sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums,andconventions

  • A willingness torelocateto the local area (relocationassistanceis available for highly qualified applicants)

  • A bachelor's degreeinengineering or construction management, orarelated technical degree(preferred)

  • OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification

  • Construction project managementcertification (preferred)
