Warehouse/Machine Operator – Level 2 (Flex)

Full-Time | On-Site – Grand Rapids, MI

As a Warehouse/Machine Operator – Level 2 (Flex), you will support warehouse, fulfillment, mailing, and print operations by moving product, operating equipment, replenishing inventory, and ensuring materials are processed accurately and efficiently. This flexible role is essential in helping ministry resources reach people around the world.


What You’ll Do:

  • Restock daily pick-face locations and transfer inventory using the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Ensure orders are accurately picked, prepared, and staged for shipment.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments using powered equipment.
  • Support multiple operational areas, including Mailing Machines, Print Bindery, Fulfillment, and Warehouse functions as business needs require.
  • Receive incoming products and verify shipments for accuracy.
  • Report damages, shortages, and inventory discrepancies within WMS systems.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading (BOLs) and customs forms.
  • Assist with fulfillment equipment, mail inserting, inkjet operations, machine operation, and print-finishing processes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counting and inventory management activities.
  • Support recycling and waste-management operations, including use of cardboard and paper balers.

What You Bring

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of warehousing, shipping, or receiving experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Fulfillment and mail inserter experience preferred.
  • Hi-lo/forklift experience or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience working with inventory systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, pull, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
