Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a 3rd Shift Saw Operator (Skill Level C) at our Ridgeway, SC Location.
Schedule: 9:00pm - 5:30am Sunday - Thursday (Overtime extended shift and weekend work required)
Compensation: $20.25 (plus $1.25 shift differential)
The Role: The Saw Operator operates the saw machine that fabricates laminates. This position is also responsible for the timely transfer of the fabricated laminates in preparation for the inspection process. In this role, you will be required to cross-train and perform other "A-C" skill-level jobs.

  • Set up and operate the saw.

  • Assist as needed in the off line area inspecting, stamping and edging rigid laminate.
  • Make foam molds as needed.

General Internal Eligibility Requirements:
  • Completion of 90 day new hire/newly transferred probationary period or approval of direct supervisor
  • No active disciplinary notices for behavior or performance
  • No more than 3 attendance points
  • Must pass a hearing test

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
  • In this role you maybe be required to stand up to 10 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping. You will also need to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds.
