Job description

Side Loader Forklift Operator

$30-$35/h | Full-time | On-site

Flynn Group of Companies is currently seeking an experienced Side Loader Forklift Operator to support our Vancouver manufacturing shop. This is a newly created full-time position to support growing production volume. We are specifically seeking candidates with recent, hands-on side loader experience in a manufacturing environment. This position is Monday-Friday from 6am-2:15pm (Paid for 8h/day).

Day in the Life
  • Safely operate a side loader forklift with custom attachments
  • Move and transport large modular wall panel systems
  • Remove completed units from the assembly line and load onto shipping racks
  • Work closely with another operator
  • Complete all safety checklists, documentation, and tracking accurately and on time
  • Scan and track modules
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of recent experience operating a side loader forklift
  • Manufacturing environment experience 
  • Valid forklift operator certification/license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Proficient English communication skills
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must live locally
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Experience with inventory tracking, scanning, or materials handling documentation

$30 - $35 an hour
