 What you will do… 
  • Read electrical and control schematics and assemble and wire panels to specification for PLC controls, operator consoles, variable speed drives, motor controls, and/or pneumatic controls
  • Inspect and test completed panels
  • Maintain equipment and tools in a neat, clean, and efficient work area
  • Work with shop manager to schedule and prioritize tasks
  • Occasionally support installations at local customer facilities
 What you will need to succeed… 
  • Availability during core hours of shop operation, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (some flexibility available)
  • Previous panel building experience preferred (willing to train a motivated candidate)
  • Formal electrical training or demonstrated on-the-job experience in the electrical field
  • Familiarity with NEC, UL, and/or CSA codes preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability
  • Knowledge of proper and safe use of hand tools and small power tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and dependability
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be safety conscious
Physical Demands
