As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Operator in Buford, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, respond to alarm-related activity, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an entertainment and retail venue.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe guest activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
