Job description

We are seeking a skilled residential electrician in new construction wiring to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of residential electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints, and experience installing wiring in newly built homes. This role involves working on-site with builders and other trades to ensure electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to code.

Responsibilities:

Install electrical wiring, outlets, and fixtures in new residential construction projects.

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and specifications

Run secure NM cable and conduit according to NEC and local codes

Install and wire electrical panels and breakers

Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure proper system functionality

Follow all safety standards and job site regulations

Coordinate with contractors, builders, and inspectors as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a residential electrician, specifically in new construction

Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and National Electric Code (NEC)

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints

Experience with rough wiring, panel installation, and trim-out work

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and safety practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Electrical license or apprenticeship certification (preferred but not required)

3+ years of residential new construction electrical experience
