Job description

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a PFG Processor.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.26 per hour.

What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
In a self-directed work environment, the Purchased Finished Goods Processor will serve the following role:
• Processing and receiving purchased finished goods for putaway, picking, and shipment. Picking, packing, and preparing shipments for timely delivery to customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Follows all safety rules and practices
• Performs equipment safety inspections as required
• Follows area 5S+ guidelines to keep work area clean, orderly, and safe
• Ensures quality of own work
• Stage boxes in the CET/PFG area physically and in WMS
• Operates manual and electric pallet jacks (including Walkie Stacker) to transport palletized loads
• Palletizes cartons in a safe, neat, and stable fashion to ensure ease of handling and secure shipment
• Utilizes WMS system to receive product, putaway product, pick orders, track orders through to completion, generate required labels, packing lists, invoices, bills of lading, etc.
• Utilizes handheld RF scanner to process cartons and orders for receipt/shipment
• Utilizes Microsoft Outlook to read and respond to emails, including inquiries from customer service, purchasing, supply chain, etc.
• Answers phone as needed to respond to inquiries from customer service, purchasing, supply chain, etc.
• Utilizes Easy Label or other software to generate and print required labels
• Reworks/repacks material as needed
• Packs orders as needed, using specific date codes as required by customers
• Operates stretch wrapper to wrap palletized loads and applies necessary labels to each pallet
• Works with team members to prioritize orders/containers for timely receipt/putaway to meet required customer and carrier deadlines
• Completes other tasks as required to support the business
Qualifications:
The Purchased Finished Goods Processor is expected to possess / obtain the following specialized knowledge and training to perform the primary and essential functions of the job:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The Purchased Finished Goods Processor is expected to meet the physical demands required to successfully perform the essential functions listed above. These physical demands include the following:
• Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach and use ladder
• Daily work activities will vary from computer work to physically strenuous activities requiring ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, bend or reach into awkward areas and positions.
